Victor Brave Sword LYDN (Gen II)
by Sam Lee Date Added: Thursday 16 May, 2013
Racket strung with NBG-98 JP at 25 lbs. I found that this string served as a good combination with the racket rather than BG 80 or VS 850. The moment I took the racket out, I was absolutely delighted with the graphics. I found the grip to be a little small than my liking so I put a Yonex AC102EX super grap on it. This racket was exactly what I was looking for. Apart from the previous racket, which was Brave sword 10, this racket had that extra quality that suited me really well. The smash from this racket was stronger compared to my previous racket, Brave sword 10(since I do not have sufficient arm strength to bend the STIFFEST racket) due to it being STIFF, also the speed which I found faster compared to brave sword 10 which is even balanced. Is this racket really rated as somewhat Head Heavy? Personally, I found it to be lighter than my Brave Sword 10, I have no clue why. Drives were fabulous, returns were amazing, the overhead was outstanding(for some people out there who are not used to the Bravesword series, some adjusting may be required). I could really feel that I had control over the shuttle, and this racket delivered what I wanted it to do. This racket is especially good for doubles, since it is suited for fast plays.
I hope this review serves others out there, these are my honest opinions, but the fact that these are still my PERSONAL opinions does not change.
