Being a fan of Armortecs and other head-heavy rackets, I was really surprised at how powerful the 9X is.

I borrowed one (UK-code, 3U) from a friend while my AT800Off was out of action, and I can only compare it the badminton equivalent of power steering - making insane shots with almost no effort; I was expecting the shaft stiffness to make me put a lot more work in my shots but the exact opposite was true. Also, thanks to the head-light balance, my defence didn't suffer in the slightest. It's a good looking racket as well (but I've noticed some paint finish issues over time) and plays very well with high tension.

This is now the most common racket at my club and I can finally see why: with respect to doubles it is almost without fault.
