AT900P - 28.25/31 lbs (as usual).
I approached this string with trepidation, since the 0.66mm BG-66 didn't last me very long and I wasn't keen on Nanogy 95's feel. It isn't the easiest to string with, I must admit, as it twists quite easily.
My first three shots with Nanogy 98 were enough to convince how powerful it is - it's by far the most powerful string Yonex have ever produced, and my smashes were at least 5% faster (which encouraged me to smash all the more). Also, the feel is slightly more communicative than Nanogy 95 (but still quite numb compared to BG-66). Nice and loud, as well.
I was pleasantly surprised by what happened to my net play: the control offered by N98 is excellent, and it responds much better to spin than N95. The string bed is intermediate in stiffness between BG-65Ti and BG-80. In other words, just right.
This is a magnificent string and, if it proves to be as durable as its 0.69 older brother, it could be perfect.
