Update...

I now feel I have enough experience with this racket to put my foot down and give a rating. Power is extraordinary and just keeps getting better - the head is so heavy and so aerodynamic it just plows through the shuttle as if it isn't there. I have finally accustomed myself to the unique timing of this racket, so it is less of a handful when the rallies go flat. However, I am somewhat handicapping myself because my go-to racket is a Nanospeed 9900 - the exact opposite of the Z in every possible way - so switching back and forth causes real problems for a few points.

I have recently begun to use the Z in singles, and I have seen no better racket for this purpose. Back to back stuff is made a whole lot easier by the length and balance, and the head speed makes it agile enough to defend the odd smash. It doesn't have the stiffness of the AT700 or 900P, but this is no big deal for me, as the Z is more forgiving by way of compensation.

If you put the work in with this thing you will (eventually) see what it's all about :).

Rating: 4 of 5 Stars! [4 of 5 Stars!]
